Dr Alam will commence working from 17/02/2025. He is a highly qualified and experienced General Practitioner who trained in the United Kingdom. With a strong background in multiple areas of medicine, he holds diplomas in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Musculoskeletal Medicine.

Who can get the new vaccine?

All adults can get a booster dose if it's been more than six months since their last vaccine dose or COVID illness.

Adults over the age of 75 are recommended to get a booster dose every six months

Adults between the age of 65 and 74 are recommended to get a booster dose every twelve months

If you're between the age of 17 and 64, the official advice is that you "consider" getting a COVID booster shot

Changes to Telehealth 2025
A telehealth consultation is an over the phone appointment with your Doctor.
Most of our GP's offer phone consultations.
Telehealth GP providers will be required to have an existing and continuous relationship with a patient in order for Telehealth services to be eligible for the Medicare rebate.
All Telehealth will be privately billed unless your GP decides to bulk bill.
Exemptions: children under the age of 12 months or individuals who are experiencing homelessness.
To book a telehealth consultation, contact the practice on 02 4365 4488. At the time of your appointment your Doctor will call you.
( Please allow a one hour window surrounding your appointment, should your Doctor be running late. It may be useful to make a list of what you need to discuss during your consultation including any medications or referrals you may require. Please ensure that you are in a quiet room for your telehealth consultation )
